How did Hawaii VIP Auto Storage Get Started?
Curtis Colin's entrepreneurial journey began when he was a child. Turning his first dollar as a juvenile fishmonger, he eventually expanded into surf racks, and then on to golf cart leasing before creating Hawaii VIP Auto Storage.
Before solidifying his decision to live life as a business owner, he tried his hand at TV production and enjoyed a stint with ESPN. While he enjoyed the work, it did not pan out and Curtis found his way back home. By chance, someone organizing an event for the Golf Channel heard about his new golf cart rental business and called to request 30 carts. This became his first large client, and propelled him on to expand his venture and create Hawaii VIP Auto Storage.
Curtis had already been brainstorming and acquired retired military bunkers to rent out as storage units. The concept continued to evolve, and Curtis knew that a lot of military people had difficulty storing their vehicles when they got deployed. This solved that problem.
Today, Hawaii VIP Storage has 8 bunkers that are used for auto storage, and 60-75% of their clientele are military. The others are Oahu residents who either have limited space for their 2nd or 3rd vehicle, or those who have vintage/luxury cars that they want to keep safe from the elements. Hawaii VIP Auto Storage has unmatched security from the formidable construction of these bunkers, as well as 24/7 security patrols and a soon-to-be-upgraded video surveillance system.
This company consists of the owner, Curtis Colin, and his small team of talented and dedicated people. They have been together for several years now, and have become like a 2nd family to each other. This ultimately benefits their customers too, because they are so cohesive and efficient. Hawaii VIP Auto Storage looks forward to providing their services to the local and military people of Oahu.
Who Does Hawaii VIP Auto Storage Serve?
We serve customers all over the island of Oahu, and even those who may be from a neighbor island, but travel to Oahu frequently. Our secure facility is located in Waikele, but our services allow us to offer pick-up and drop off, as well as vehicle maintenance to those who only use their vehicles occasionally.
In addition to this, we can help those who need a secure, protected place for luxury or larger autos or equipment and don't have the space on their own property, or are worried about security.
